So I’m not good with needles…
So these have been high in the past, but doctor didn’t have anything to say about it. This time, I got a referral to a hematologist/oncologist. I spoke to a doctor friend of mine, let him see all my blood results, and asked “is this from dehydration?” He said no (I’m also a notoriously hydrated person).
I’m 40F, never been overweight, have been active-highly active for most of my life (with times here and there with less activity, never lasting more than a few months).
Symptoms include fatigue, headaches/migraines, dizziness/presyncope, raynaud’s, bone pain, joint pain, restless legs, blood pooling, sometimes low blood pressure, tinnitus 24/7 for years and years.
Anyway. I really hate needles and I usually begin to faint every single time I get blood drawn. Anyone got any advice for making peace with needles? I’m (maybe foolishly) thinking I’m fine and this is a fluke…but if it’s something serious, how am I gonna get used to getting my blood drawn all the time!
